Daniel B. Carew

Daniel was born not that long ago (1983) and grew up in Fenelon Falls, Ontario, Canada. After a wholesome childhood spent pondering upon such things small, one day he left the farm for the Big Smoke, and an Engineering Science degree (BASc) at the Univeristy of Toronto. Lured away by his interest in small things, he now finds himself on these small British Isles, in the fine establishment known as the University of Bristol. Currently studying towards his PhD in Chemistry under the joint tutelage of Professor Ian Manners and Professor Dek Woolfson, Daniel hopes to make great strides in the field of nanotechnology and materials chemistry.
